Do you offer a parent orientation?
Parent Orientation is usually held the first thursday of September at 7pm meeting in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. This night is planned for parents only. The next Parent Orientation can be found noted on the homepage or listed on the calendar under Resources
Do you offer all day care?
We are a part-time preschool program only.
Is Potty Training required?
Your child does not need to be potty trained.
When is registration?
Registration for Summer Session and the following School Year begins mid-January and is first come first served. Registration forms can be found on our homepage or picked up at the preschool. Space can be limited, please call for availability before mailing payment. For registration any other time of the year, please call to inquire about availability.
What forms of payment do you accept for registration & tuition?
We accept cash and check only. Tuition payments are due the first week of each month.
Is there a discount for paying tuition in full?
There is a 5% discount offered for paying the school year tuition in full by September 30th.
What holidays do you observe?
We follow the Bremerton School District's schedule for holidays and inclement weather, with the exception of staff days and conference days. Please see our calendar link on the Resources page for our current schedule.
Do you provide snacks?
Each family will be responsible for sending a healthy snack to share with the whole class on a rotating calendar basis. All foods that are brought from home should be whole fruits and vegetables or commercially prepared packaged foods in sealed containers. If your child wishes to celebrate his/her birthday at school, please let your teacher know your plans.
Do you take food allergies into consideration?
If your child has special dietary restrictions please alert the staff as well as indicate the restrictions on your child's Emergency Information Form. You may also send acceptable snacks for your child to be kept at the preschool to be used in place of any other provided snacks. We invite you to work with staff and check the incoming snack each class day to ensure a safe snack for your child.
What if my child is sick?
Keep sick children home. Children may return to school 24 hours after the last symptoms of fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or sore throat. Call Sycamore Tree Preschool in regards to current Covid-19 protocols.
What if we choose to leave the program?
Two weeks notice is required if your child needs to drop preschool. This is necessary so that children on the waitlist can be notified of the opening.
What ages does your program accept?
We offer classes for children from 18 months to 5 1/2 years old.
